SGFR Open House

All community members are welcome to attend our annual SGFR Open House on Sunday September 7th 2025 between 11 AM and 3 PM. There will be door prizes, family friendly games and activities, demonstrations and information about fire safety. Free food and drinks are provided, and a free firefighter gift bag for each child who attends. There will also be and an opportunity to win prizes by participating in live demos and events!

It's a great opportunity to meet your local firefighters and first responders, and learn what it's like to be an SGFR member! Looking forward to seeing you there =)

Check out our live demonstrations and see what it takes to be an SGFR member. Demonstrations will occur on rotation throughout the day, so check back often for exciting displays.

Come check out our apparatus/equipment

Come see for yourself what it's like to sit in the drivers seat, check out our gear, and experience what it feels like to be an SGFR member. Tours are family friendly =)

Complimentary refreshments will be provided by Tano Fuel (thank you Tano!), and seating is available within the fire hall.

Halloween Party

All community members are welcome to attend our outdoor Halloween Party on Friday October 31st. It's a family friendly event and there will be free candy and a fire-pit to roast marshmallows and make s'mores. We will also be playing an outdoor movie: "Playing with Fire" (rated PG) starting at 7pm.
*If the weather doesn't cooperate the party will be moved inside.

Costumes encouraged but not required =)
