We work hard to support our community, responding to various 911 callouts including: structure fires, wildfires, fire alarms, medical emergencies, motor vehicle incidents, technical rescues, and more.

All gear and training is provided free of charge! Everyone is welcome to apply!

No Experience Necessary

You do not need to have any previous firefighting/first responder training to apply. We accept all levels of experience and will provide all necessary training and gear free of charge!  

Learn Valuable Skills

Training includes a variety of practical hands on experience and in person courses. From hose and pump operations to first aid / medical response techniques, road safety and more, our training program promotes a wide variety of skill sets that are constantly maintained and improved upon.

Protect Our Community

Whether it's a house fire, motor vehicle incident, HAZMAT situation, or even a wildfire, SGFR is on call 24/7 and ready to serve our community. We take pride in our role, and care deeply about our community's safety.
